John S. I arrived just before sunrise and fished till 6:30PM. Between us we caught 21 bass, with John landing the largest at 19" and we culled 8. We also caught and released two large sunfish. About 2/3rds of the fish were caught in the morning and the other 3rd in the afternoon.  Most of the success occurred in the open water just outside of the fringing weeds.

Foggy morning turned sunny once the wind picked up at 10AM. Sporadic clouds made for a nice break from the sun. Water temp ~90F. Water stained with ~2' visability.

Fished entire tank rotating from bank to dock to jon boat. Noted significant subaqueous weed growth fringing all of the lake with significant patches in the shallow portions of the lake…especially the north end. Bite was erratic throughout the day…no pattern was established. Tried everything with most success associated with weightless t-rigged or wacky style worms/stickbaits.

A couple of blowups early in the day on frogs but no hooksets…just banging the lure! Nothing on other topwaters.

Had very nice lunch break at Elm Creek Cafe… try their Dewberry pie if they are open!
