Dr. Danny Proctor DVM and I fished Monday from about 8 till 6:30 with a 4 hour lunch-nap break.

Tried everything but live bait in the am and finally started catching fish on soft plastics before 9 am on the dam.

Continued around the lake clockwise and continued to catch scattered fish till noon break. Two largest were 4-1/8 and 4 pounds.

After brake, 4 pm, we fished the trees and moss beds and caught 2 more over 4 and several in the 3-1/2 pound range.

We culled about 15 to 20 fish as we gave them away and await the final count from the recipient.

I estimate that we caught between 50-60 fish and lost 2 good ones (5+) and about 10 more.

The lake is about 2-3 foot low but they were pumping water in on Monday.

This was our third trip and it won't be our last.
