the property seems to fish better when it is windy.  We had a very mild breeze at 90 degrees and not much cloud cover.  We thru top water and flukes and caught 25  and harvested 8.  The weed mat is thick and bass are lying under it.  Lots of blowups but they had difficulty breaking thru the mat. Most action on east side near dam and along west side. Plenty of water and some action at brush piles.  Had my Nephew in town as he just came back from overseas duty.  Glad to see him and spend time catching up on the last 8 years.   Three more years and he can retire at the ripe age of 38. He was proud of the biggest bass of the day at just 4 pounds.
