Fished Six O Thursday, the 17th, with my 12 year old son. Beautiful property and lake with lots of structure, humps, submerged dam, timber, points and vegetation. All fishable. On the water at 6:30, heading up NE bank into NE arm with frogs and flukes. Few swirls, wouldn't say blowups, on frog with a couple caught and few missed, didn't seem really committed. However, watermelon fluke with tail dipped was getting choked. Wind made it difficult to really work areas like we wanted. Couple on point between the 2 NE arms on fluke and senko. Couple on old pond dam on senko and fluke, largest 3.35. 1 on crank…nothing on rattletraps. Worked dam and west side… nothing. Had 11 by noon with 2 unders harvested. Broke for quick lunch at dock, then storms with lighting approached from the west so decided to unload boat and just fished from dock with couple missed on topwater mouse, again swirls not blowups. One more added on senko and had to go around 2 to stay in front of storms heading back to Dallas. Did speak to owner, very nice, will be back.
