Caught most of the fish up in the grass on fluke, frog and senko, all within about 2 hours of arrival, had to leave by about 12:00 due to work emergency but what a property   culled about 9 bass  released a 7 an 8.2 and couple of 5 s pretty good day  i would have though with blue skys the fish would have gone deeper earlier but they remained way shallow till I left caught a few near standing timber toward center of lake but most stayed very shallow even up on bank behind the grass fish were hitting very softly accept for the top water bite almost couldnt feel them down deep   this privatelake fishing is addictive went and bought an 18 ft. jon boat so i could rig it like a bass boat  without the big engine  this location needs a boat ramp despratly  as i will be trying to split my time 50/50 between this lake and home   just kidding if you havent tried this lake its worth every penny and the drive
