Fingerling
Son and I fished JerMar the morning of 5/28. We got on the water right at 6am and began picking them up on top water frogs. I eventually switched over to a pop'r and caught 4 or 5 on that before they slowed down. We eventually went to flukes and lizzards and continued catching on those. We ended up catching somewhere around 30 with only 2 of those being unders. The largest fish of the day was around the 4 lb mark and several 2.5 - 3.5 range. Most of the fish were very fat and healthy. At around 11:15 we loaded the boat up and decided to try the smaller ponds from the bank. At upper JerMar, we immediately started getting bit on the lizzards but kept missing the hook up. Eventually we got a good hook set and low and behold I pulled up a massive bream, had to be over 1.5 lbs. Continued messing with the bream and pulled in a couple more before I got a nice 4 lb LMB. Moved over to Beaver pond and picked up more bream and a couple under LMB.
Wind was very light all morning, less than 6.
Water clarity probably 24"
The lake is growing grass fast so anything that wasn't weedless was tough to fish.
Outside air temp was around 73 degree with an overcast all morning.
