Fished Monday morning and started with a small white popping bug at the dock area. Caught 4 large bream, which I was very excited about. I had not caught large bream from this lake since they stopped running the feeder.Anyway I paddled over to the west shore line and noticed some bass moving near the bank.I eased in and caught five bass in that one spot before they moved. After fishing back towards the dock I turned around and when I passed this spot I saw more activity so this time I picked up the fly rod again and cast that white popping bug.I managed to catch eight huge bream from that spot. They were so large I was not sure if they were bass or bream until I got them to the kayak.Ancoring down keep me from being pulled over and on top of what must have been a spawning bed.I was tempted to weight several be I did not want to waste the time. They may have been 3/4lb or larger.

I continued on bass fishing using a weightless watermelon seed yum dinger working the shallow water.Later used six inch worms with a 1/8 oz  and 1/16 oz weight.Ended up with 25 bass of which only six were under 14". The others were nice healthy fun fish but nothing over 3 lbs

On the way back to the dock I caught a huge bream on a 6" wat/red paddle tail speed worm. The bream weighted 1.34 bls.The largest I have ever caught. I only wish I would have got it on a fly rod.

I stopped at the first pond coming in from the gate to see if it held any fish and in less then 20 minutes I caught 7 bass and 5 bream using an olive woolly bugger. The bass were 10" and the bream were almost med size but on a 4 weight fly rod a lot of fun.Next trip I will leave the main lake by 9am and walk around the smaller ponds.

If you want to catch HUGE bream, fish Upper JerMar. We were catching bream that were at least 1.5 lbs if not bigger. They were hitting 6" lizzards.
