My wife and I fished an evening and morning at Lakeside Monday and Tuesday and boated 23 bass and two huge bluegill.  This has proven to be a consistently dependable lake, with better than average sized bass, and always the possibility of something even bigger.  Along with lots of 2-3 lb. fish, we had 4 in the 4lb. range and two 5's. Black with blue fleck senkos, 10 inch red shad worms, and a throw-back top water Dalton Special accounted for all the fish.  Caught only a couple in the lily pads.  The majority were along the weed line in 2-4 feet.  The weather was very iffy both days, with threatening thunderstorms and predictions of 15-25 mph winds, so our expectations were low.  We felt very blessed to neither get wet nor blown off the lake, and to catch fish on top of all that.

Was sobered by the scenes of destruction of homes, vehicles, and trees where the recent Canton tornado cut a swath through the countryside just maybe 4-5  miles from Lakeside.
