Fished Friday afternoon. No wind when we first started. Stopped at the gate pond and caught two nice fish immediately on watermelon Ribbit. We then fixed the front seat on the v hull . Launched and started throwing frogs.  Lots of blowups in the thick cover near the bank.  Probably only boated 40% of the blowups.  Throwing Ribbit frogs watermelon, black and white plus a white spro frog.  We did manage a first for us. We caught a big bull frog on the white spro.  We release it as it was over 14 inches.  Just a fun afternoon probably caught 30 for the afternoon. The best times were noon to 2 pm and then from 6pm to 8 pm.  Met Jerry (owner) as he was working on tilapia pond and outing staying the night. A great owner for sure.   If you like to practice your top water weedless skills then this is the place. Throwing frogs we only harvested 4 fish.  Caught four in the 4 pound range a slew of 3 pounders and some in the two pound range.
