I took a Mom along to Northeast lake Mothers day afternoon, and she had a career day.  We lost count of the bass we caught, most all over 16", including one fully depleted 27" Mama that still weighed in a 7 - 4.  Everything was caught on shad colored crankbaits, stick baits, swimming plastics, and frogs. including monster bluegills, googleeyed perch, and one big black crappie.  Latched onto several freight trains that we never really got to see.  I haven't fished this pond in 8 years, but I'll be returning, and that right soon.
