Keeper
Fished Six O with another member Sunday morning. The lake is clear and full and the vegetation is not a problem. The other member arrived at 8am and started fishing the north end, points and coves, then the west side and dam.He was using flukes, wacky worms and tx rig worms. He hit the shore line, pockets in the grass and edges of the grass. He gave up about 11:30 without a single strike. This was his first visit to this lake and he will not be returning anytime soon.
I was targeting bream with a fly rod, mostly and started by 6:30.I started around the dock area and the cove south of the dove toward the dam.I picked up 6 jumbo bream.4 on a popping bug and two on a woolly.Later switched to a hares ear and picked up 2 more large bream and 8 more smaller bream.Durning this time I got 3 bass on a 4" wat/green yum dimger. At 10am I fished the dam area with a wat/seed fluke and picked up 7 more bass.
I ended up with 10 bass of which 5 were removed.the other 5 were in the 14" to 15" range.I was hoping to do much better on the bream.I never located any bedding bream.
