Fingerling
Lake was high and the boat was easy to launch. If you go take some ant spray as they are living in the boat, luck had it that I had some bug spray that slowed them down. Just a nice breeze was a good thing from noon till five, after that it went dead calm and the fish stopped biting. I started with a senko on the grass line and caught three under 14 in about 45 minutes. Picked up a rod with my favorite Strike King sq. bill crankbait and caught a nice 3 lb bass on the first cast. Stayed with it catching quality fish till it went calm at 5. All came off the grass lines with the most productive area being in the trees on the west side. I worked the dam hard and was blanked. The moss is growing and i lost several when they took a dive into it. Never found a BIG bass but had a good day close to home.
