Fished here pm 5/1/17 noon to 5pm. Started off very windy, waves into the bank. Clear sky , water looked good. Fished the usual , Zoom Plum 6 inch worms on 5.0 hook 1/4 oz sinker. Parked at the dock, fished dock to the dam on the bank and caught two small ones, two small ones gave me the hook back. Fished the other way past the dock down the cow paths on the other side of the dock, no hits. Last but not least. Fished around the dock, from the dock. Caught a 5 lb bass on the second throw, the bass had my worm and another loose 10" orange lizard bait in in its mouth with mine when i lifted it out of the water. The lizard had an exposed hook but it was loose in the basses mouth. I pulled out the loose lizard and removed my worm and released the fish. I have never seen that. Then i caught 2 more 3 pounders right after that. Then I hooked a monster on a cast and it was taking line against my drag, I could not stop it , or turn it, it went under the dock, came out, pulling line off the whole way, went back under the dock, and snapped the line. Wow, now that was a fish worth going back for. Slow start, fast finish, Another great day at Private Water Fishing. I did harvest one bass under 14 inches. Roy Cotton

The sharp cross-members under that dock have produced quite a few tears and curses. The bass seem to pull even harder once they sense that they are close to them.
