Fished 4/23 in the afternoon. Blue skies and a steady north wind.  The first four hours were difficult in locating the fish. We worked both sides  going north and letting the wind drift us back.  Once the shadows started appearing on West Bank  the top water bite picked up.   I was still looking for my first fish on top water. We were throwing spro frogs and ribbits.  I then decided to throw a fluke to the brush piles and the bite was on the the late afternoon. We ended with 21 and harvested 4 of the 21.  The lake is full and water clarity was clear at south end and stained at north end.  Having the temps in low 70's made for a pleasant day even with that nagging north wind.  Most fish in the 2 to 3 pound range. Another pleasant outing close to home.
