Fished Angel Lake Thursday morning.A very enjoyable lake to fish. The tank is full with visibility to 18" and grass around the shore line. Fished weightless flukes and yum dingers. Caught 14 bass with two at 4.25 lbs and eleven between 2.5 and 3 lbs. All very solid fish.Only one was smaller at 13".
Pulled out the fly rod and caught 8 monster bream as large as any of the Six O bream. The bream were scattered and did not catch more than two at any one place. The bass were mostly related to the shore line so the weightless baits were required.
Nothing on frogs or popping bugs. The wind picked up around 10:30 and two anchors would not hold my kayak so I pretty much was done at that time.I was able to fish no more than 50 % of the lake due to the wind running me off.

Joe, thanks for the info on this new lake. My partner and I will be trying it out tomorrow, and I believe that your report will be helpful to us. We'll post a report after we take a shot at it. I hope this will be a good body of water for some time, as it is the nearest one to us in Waco. We will be fishing kayaks, also.
