Two of us fished here for the first time April 4. Skies were clear all day. Early we had only a light breeze and we caught several 1-3 pounders on poppers. By 11 am the wind came up big time, so we stayed in the timber and tied off to trees and used Senkos and lizards. By 3 pm we had boated 46 bass, the biggest being 4 lbs 0 ounces.  We harvested only two fish all day, so almost all were very nice fish.
