Took my two boys (8 & 5) to Bonham on April 1st and had a great time. Fishing was good but not spectacular. We fished from 3:00 to 7:30 and took a snack break from 5-6. From 3-5 it was slow and very windy! We had two get off but didn't put any in the boat. We threw spinners, small shallow crank baits, and senkos & trick worms.

From 6-7:30 it was much better! We boated 6 healthy jumping bass, released two and culled four. We also had three more get off before we could get them in the net. All fish that we actually caught were on the famous Yellow Magic. The fish weren't blowing it up, just a mild swirl and your bait was gone. Ha! Great fun though.
