20 MPH winds and bright sun made for a challenging day on 3-31 in the afternoon. Wind blew us from one end to the other all afternoon. Practically all of the coon tail grass is gone. Nonexistence of any weed beds….totally different lake from the last time I was there. Fished with member Scott Benson. Action didn't start until after 6 when the wind died down "a little". Nearly all of our action came from using torpedo's, but is was good until dark. We caught 18 bass with 12-15 more strikes, a few in the 3-4lb range, and about 8 perch earlier on a tiny crawfish crank. We culled 8 bass.

I have also noticed that both emergent and submerged vegetation is almost all gone. It is still there in the small off-limits pond that you see on the road in.
