Had the pleasure of fishing Escondido today with Bill Fetech. Was a bit worried about the weather, but it turned out totally do-able even in a 15-20mph wind.  We ended up boating 15-20 Bass, with no dinks, and probably lost 10-15 more.. Had several at 14.5, with the the vast majority between 2 and 4 pounds. We never really stumbled upon a solid pattern, as we caught them on glide baits, soft plastic swimbaits, spinnerbaits, hula grubs and top-waters. About 10:30am my son smoked one that weighed in at 5.20lbs on a red/white scum frog skipped over the lily pads in back of the lake. Had nice conversations with both the owner and his son. Main gate is still screwy, as on our way out it locked in the OPEN position on us. Unfortunately it seems there is too much tension on the pin from the hydraulic ram to pop the pin out and close manually. However Seth answered the phone promptly, and all was taken care of. All in all a GREAT day, and thanks to Bill for joining us. Looking forward to fishing Gallant Elms with him next month!

Andy. Great report and photo.

PWF - Partnering system is great.

If you have not selected that option when reserving a property , give it a try.

Andy. Great report and photo.

Also, look at the standing timbers in the background of the photo.  These are small in regards to others at this property.

PWF - Partnering system is great.

If you have not selected that option when reserving a property , give it a try.
