I fished Triple Creek on Saturday from 2 to 5.  I removed 11 crappie and had a 15.5 inch bass released.  I was using sencos, Texas rigged worms, white spinnerbaits and top water frogs.  Slow bite on the bass, but landowner Greg advised me to pack grubs and minnow imitations next trip.  He said those are killers there.  Wish I could have stayed until dusk and experienced the top water bite.  Greg said the frog population there is ample and the bass take advantage.

I enjoyed talking with Greg and he is loaded with helpful information about the lake.  Triple Creek is a great addition for our Houston area members.  Thanks PWF!
