Beautiful weather at a good lake led to a good day of fishing.  I started fishing about 8:15 and caught a number of bass on topwaters.  Switched to lipless crankbaits for a while until bite died on those.  I couldn't buy a strike on a bladed jig, had a little better luck on spinner bait, swim jigs and swim baits.  Not much luck on slow presentations like rage craw, lizard or Texas rigged worms.  I did have better luck on flukes (had to have the right color) and frogs.  Most of the fish I caught ranged from 1 1/2 pounds to 4 pounds with a few larger and a few smaller (only about 10% of the fish were harvest fish).  I fished hard around the marked structure and caught 6 or 7 nice bass off the middle brushpile.  I didn't catch any on the one closer to the dock or the dam.
