Fished pm on the 10th with my daughter and her friend. Fishing was what you would expect for March. We stayed shallow. Caught most fish on Long A's and similar. Also on rattle traps & Lucky Craft lipless baits. Had weather you could not have ordered. Calm variable winds with clouds moving in 1/2 hour after we started. By two pm heard thunder off in the distance but no lightning. OK so how was the fishing. Two experienced guys probably could've had 25-30 pretty easily. We had 14 with another 6 or so come off or never really getting a good hook set. Most were on shore line between the dock and the upper end of the lake. Caught a few from the dam but not as many as the upper end. Had to throw baits and tackle these two young adults could handle so this is about all we threw and we stayed from 1-5 feet. A few fish were right on the bank. No big fish today but several between 2 1/2 and 3 1/4 pounds. If you are headed down I would inquire about the trolling motor on the boat. We had problems with it, but with two 20 year olds we were able to use the paddle and push pole and get around.
