Wife and I fished JerMar from about 11AM to 6PM. Pretty tough conditions - post cold front, stained water, bright sunshine, low wind, 4.9 on the Bass Forecast Rating (excuses, excuses). We boated 17 with all but 2 over the 14" limit - up to 3lbs 2oz. Air temps were about 40 to 50, wind was less than 10mph - which is helpful for JerMar since it is completely exposed. The fish were pretty lethargic, but I guess if you put a bait right in front of them, they'd cooperate - so mostly slow moving plastics were the only productive baits. No particular part of the lake was better than others. Also, checked out the smaller ponds to no avail. Overall, was still a wonderful PWF day with my favorite fishing partner!
P.S. We stopped at El Patio Escondido in Van Alstyne for mexican food - friendly staff, good food and even live music.
