Fished Wed afternoon 2/22/17 another member. This is a beautiful secluded lake and all the trees help block any wind. The lake is full plus and the water is clear for east Texas.
We caught 38 bass,24 bream and 5 large crappie.Only one bass was over 14".They hit pumpkin lizards, bruised banana trick worm tx rigged with very light weight ,wat/seed worm and a small in line spinner.A fly rod with an olive woolly picked up the bream, crappie and a good number of bass. This is a very good fly rod lake.
Around 5pm the east Texas mosquitoes came out so be prepared.Only my friend was bit,he had on shorts but I was very aware of their presence.
