Fishing the past pattern with a crankbait did not work, the senko worked on 3 but the white 3/8 oz. spinnerbait was the trick. I started at noon and fished till dark. The west bank and the creek area netted all but 3 fish. They were slamming the spinnerbait and the fish are fat and strong. Steady Jimmy Houston pattern resulted in over 20 fish for the day. Most were in 6 feet of water but the big girl of the day (a 20 inch fish) was on the bank and ate the bait when it hit the water. Another super Private Water Fishing day just 40 minutes from home.
