Kit Carson
Fingerling
Fished from 1:30 - 5:30 at crossroads on Friday. It was very windy. The water was clear. I caught over 20 fish (I lost the exact count somewhere along the way) on Ned rigs, crank baits, and Texas rig watermelon seed lizard. The winner of the day was the lizard. The fish appeared to healthy and were strong fighters. They ranged from 12" - 15" with several 16". It was a fun day. It was a little difficult to launch my boat as the water was down a little and it was a long way to the water. I launched at the end of the finger protruding into the lake to avoid trudging through the mud.
