All:
I can just photocopy the last two reports from this lake. I fished from 1:30 to 6:30 pm, and caught about 20 bass and four crappie drifting with the wind and dragging or casting crankbaits. Bass ranged from several dinks to one about 18 inches, and several in the 14-16 range. The crappie were huge and aggressive, attacking my lure right at the boat twice. That was an awesome display, considering I always thought crappie were kind of passive. Nyet! The fish were all over the water column, from 3 feet to 12 feet.
I tried a shaky head and a TX-rigged straight worm around the trees and brush piles, and nada. One of the bass had a very small bluegill in its stomach when I cleaned it.
Tight lines!
