My first trip to Beaver Lake, another super winter day to go fishing. If you go soon and plan on launching a boat you will need a 4x4 vehicle, it was wet. Got on the water at noon and fished with a variety of baits….No fishes biting. Switched to a shad color crank and on the first cast caught a dandy 3 pounder. Another hour buzzed by with no luck. Bout 3 for no good reason I went to a larger bait. Tied on a 2.5 Black Back Chartreuse Strike King  crank and that boated 8 more strong fighting fish up to 4 lbs before I headed home. Water was off color from the rain and there is a good deal of coon tail and duck weed. I never found a hot spot, caught fish all around in 6 feet of water with the E bank producing best. Fun day at a property that was new to me.
