Forecasts were calling for 20mph winds all day on Sunday from the SW and shifting to the North by early afternoon. We were blessed with light breezes pretty much all day and air temperatures in upper 60s. Water surface temps ranged from 61 to 64 degrees. My guest and I fished the east lake in the morning. We found the east pond to have more structure and certainly more bites. The west pond was fished later in the day and provided a few catches but nothing to the amount we saw in the east pond. Overall we fished from 7am till 4pm with a few breaks. We caught 25 bass ranging from 2 lbs to 6 1/2 lbs(maybe one dink all day). We used 3/8 and 1/2 oz swivel jigs(texas rigged with crawdad trailer) and spinner baits. A really pretty spot(especially the east pond) with all the structure it provides. Will defiantly be back!
