Fished this property the afternoon of February 7 from noon until 4:30.

First, what a great property.  Multiple clusters of standing timber with some isolated ones also.  I found depths to 32 ft towards the pier.

Conditions:

air temp: 70-84

water temp: 60-64

water:  good color with clarity to about 3-4 ft.

Partly sunny with a good breeze.

Now for the results.  Caught 12 and culled only 1 which was 13".  Three of the keepers were close to 20" and most of the others were 3-4 lbs.

Just like my recent trips to Blackjack and Post Oak, the rattletrap was very successful as I caught over half on it.  This time I fished it with a steady retrieve.  Others were caught on a spinner and a shallow running crank bait.  I lost 1-2 on a jig and also on the rattle trap. Most were caught in 8-12 ft between the standing timbers.

Steve,Seth, and Keri:  GREAT new property - thanks.

Bill
