Got a late start so didn't make it on the water until almost 11 on Saturday, fished until about 3 when I had to head home for Saturday night plans with the missus. Had never been to this property before, so chose the West Lake just because it looked to be better protected against the wind. Sunny, temp in the 50s, wind blowing pretty good. Caught a couple of 3 pounders and a smattering of smaller fish. all in deeper water. All action was with c-rigged Kelly green senkos with about an 18" leader, no love on any kind on crank baits. Only top water I tried was to briefly throw a frog up onto the shore line, but given the time of day I was fishing not too surprising that they weren't interested.

Property is beautiful. I'll definitely head back.
