Fished Twin Lakes yesterday 12/30 with member Brian Burks. We decided to get there mid morning since it was 35 degrees at daylight. Launched on the west lake at 9:30 with bluebird skies and no wind. The first hour was really slow. Finally some wind started blowing and the bite picked up. Then around noon a few clouds started rolling in and the wind picked up, as did the bite. The bass bit really well until around 3. It started raining, the wind died, and immediately the bite died. We ended up with 35 bass, two over 5 lbs with the biggest weighing 5-14. Jerkbaits, chatterbaits and jigs were our best baits.
