Fished blackjack on Friday the 18th. I got there at 11 and it was 80 degrees. I fished for 30 minutes and then a front came through and temp dropped 15 degrees in minutes. From there on out there were "lose your balance" wind gusts and the fish were really tight around cover. I caught 8 but 7 were under or around the pier. I Called upon my inner  7 year old and resorted to dropping a worm straight down off the pier picking off 3 or 4 nice fish using the pier for cover. Gotta do what you gotta do. Got two or three more in the cover near the pier. Would have loved to get the boat out but the wind was fierce.
