Fingerling
Three of us fished Athens Northeast 11/15 in the afternoon. The App said 12:28 so we were ready and on the water. Right on, I caught half of my fish during the green. Unfortunately, that amounted to two fish. Nice day, beautiful weather, slight breeze, crystal clear water, lots of sun light and very few fish. We each caught 4 or 5 apiece. We threw cranks, plastic and spinner baits all over the place. We found a pattern…... cast, cast, cast and cast again then when you hook one move on, we never caught more then one fish pre location. The cranks and chatter baits produced the few we hooked and they were clones…. @ 3.5 lbs, good fighters but not super fat.. Real nice place, but FYI, the lake is down and your launch area requires caution! Especially if you're using you own boat and trailer. I was glad to have others guys with me. We read that the fishing was fast but we hit the brakes. Oh well, good fun, good friends, good time on the water and just good to be out and about!
