Fished Giddings from 7:45 until 3:30 and caught only 4. All were 2-3 lbs, but no real pattern. Water level is about 2-3 ft below the pier. Caught one by a brush pile, one by the day, one in the open water, and one on the opposite bank. 

No top water action. Tried almost everything and no two were caught on the same lure. 

Water temp was 65-68.
