Fished Northeast Lake 11/12 from 1-5 p.m. with my 7 year old son. Caught 23 bass with the biggest being 5lbs 3oz.  The majority of them were caught by punching a creature bait in the thick grass. My son caught a mixed bag of bass, bream and crappie on a beetle spin and we kept the 2 crappie. The lake is low enough that launching my boat was a bit of a challenge but the fishing was worth it.
