The report and pictures of bigger bass at Six 0 motivated me to book a trip Friday the 4th. Perfect day, cool cloudy and light winds. I fished with nearly everything for 3 hours catching just one fish. At 3 PM I pulled out the crank bait box and tied on a fire tiger rattle trap. The second long cast went sailing and BAM Mrs Bass was fighting me for my bait. Into the boat goes a sweet 19" fish. I fished for 3 hours with the rattle trap and had six over 19" and another 5 solid 14-18 inch fish. Biggest was 21.5 weighing in at 6 lbs. Lost the toad by the spillway, I thought I was hung up but it pulled back and went airborne. I watched in anguish as the trap left her lip.Great day cranking up some tough fighting fish.Caught em all in about 8 feet of water along the weed lines.

Its interesting how they can be so picky sometimes. Thanks for this report. My son and I are going to fish here Saturday.
