I am still out of commission after bicep surgery, but was aching to get out. So, took the Ms. and I did not fish…we had a fun time with her bank fishing Beaver Lake. She is very much a beginner, but found some willing fish. Landed 12 from dinks to 3lbs.  Mostly, on a small, white, double leaf willow blade spinnerbait.  A couple on a large white/shad double leaf willow blade spinnerbait.  One on a 4" green pumpkin Power Worm.  Fished from about 3:30PM to 6:45PM.  Indeed there is something to the weather conditions, when it was breezy and cloudy in the afternoon the fishing was the best.  Fishing slowed when the breeze calmed.  A nice property to have an option to the West/North.  I do wish there was a simple jon boat for club use.
