Fished Sunday morning. It was too windy to use the boat. Caught all fish on watermelon red Wave Worm rigged wacky style. Had no hits on Rattle Traps or Spinner Baits.  Caught 3 nice fish from the dock. Then walked the bank from the dock to the dam. That section is full of small fish. Caught nothing from the dam. Managed 11 for the morning up to 3 lbs and 2 culls.

Michael,

I use a Mustad weighted hook (1/16 oz.) with a 5 in. Wave Worm -Tiki-BamBoo Stick, which is fairly compact and stout. This combo handles the wind enough to provide limited but acceptable distance when casting a worm wacky rigged.  I have to also admit I had some pretty serious bird nests in the process. Nevertheless, once on the bank, I just fire away. Probably not the best approach.

Next time I hope to be out in the boat.
