Fished Thursday afternoon and the lake is in great shape. The grass only covers 5 % of the surface.

In some areas the grass is 1 to 2 feet below the surface and other places it is deeper.Not a good place for crank baits but great for all types of plastics.

Caught 48 bass and two nice size bream. Used 6" marti gras yum dinger weightless and 4" wat/red both tx rig & wacky. I did not try any other color. Picked up about a dozen on a #8 olive woolly.

30 % of the bass were 2.5 lbs ,40% in the 13" to 14" range and 30% 12" or less.
