Fished Saturday with my brother in law, October 1, 2016 from like 8:30 am to 11:30 am. Weather was beautiful and water was a bit off color. Threw everything in tackle box and only caught 2 small fish. My past two experiences were very good there catching some 6 to 8 lb fish spring and in the prior fall.

Tony. Here is the latest info from the locations section on the PWF website.
September 2016 Update. Rock Chimney suffered a fish kill on July 29th, 2016. An electro fishing survey was conducted in September 2016, and bass densities were found to be normal. However, you should expect most fish caught to be in the 12 - 16" range as many of the larger fish were killed. Populations of bluegill and redear sunfish were good, so the lake should recover quickly.
