I'm a new member, just signed up last week. Thought that I would fish this place for my first experience. Overall, it's a beautiful lake with lots of habitat/cover for fish. We fished the AM. Started out with top waters back in the coves and caught 2. We caught them on Whopper Ploppers. We them worked our way out to the middle and fished the stretch of trees down the middle of the lake. That was a little later in the morning, around 9:30am. We tried several different lures. Ended up having the best results on worms, Texas rig. Caught six more on the worms with the biggest being 5lbs. Caught a couple ranging in the 2-3lb. range. Overall, not bad. Will definitely fish this again probably in the spring.
