Fished Pecan Springs from about 7:30 to 11:15 with my new fishing partner - my wife, since my son started college out of state this month.  It was cloudy, calm and even foggy in the early AM, so it was a beautiful time to be on the water bass fishing.  This lake has no virtually no vegetation - so it was an easy one for my wife to start with.  Amidst the fishing "practice" we caught 4 dinks and I did land one at 4lb 6oz, which is a quality bass for me!

Hey David - no sir, I did not attend DeSoto schools in my elementary years.  I think we moved into Grand Prairie in about the mid-70's from Alabama immediately before that…but I was attending in the GPISD.  I appreciate the shout-out.  :)
