Fished Post Oak Aug 26 and 27, Caught 22 total and lost several more. About 1/2 Fri were dinks, strange for this place. Sat had fewer fish but better size, best was a little over 3 lbs. Zoom horney toads in white with chartruese dipped legs did most of the danmage. Only one on buzzbait, fish were semi-inactive. Previous trips here produced 4-5 lber,s but not this time.  

Sat AM was as calm and still as it gets. Over towards the cove off the main lake I saw a trail of bubbles going down the shore. At the end of the bubble trail was a 25" + hawg wallowing right up against the grass in a foot of water. Her back and tail were out of the water. Pitched a frog to her but she spooked. Not the only time I,ve seen big bass at the surface here.
