The vegetation in and around the lake is dead or dying.It may be a natural or chemically induced event but either way it has changed the dynamic of the lake.Almost no activity around the grass line.The bream have moved away and the bass have followed.The water is high,recent heavy rains, and stained with visibility of about 18".

Fished with another member and caught 42 bass of which 13 were removed.The largest was 3 3/4 lbs . We used darker plastics Tx rigged to get the baits down deeper.We did not use any crank baits but they might have been productive because the vegetation was not there to hang everything up.

Fished the morning only.The action really slowed after 8:30 am and my partner quit about 10:30 and headed to the beer cooler.
