Fished Six-O on Monday morning from dawn to noon, have always really appreciated this site. Oilfield compressor running spoils the peace and quiet a bit, but having spent 25 years in the oil business, I can't complain….. - maiden voyage for a new kayak. Had a few blow ups on top water until the sun came up, but nothing hooked. Then caught 10 on senkos in and around the old dam until 10:00, a few dinks, biggest about 2lb. Except for one of the dinks, all the fish were solid and healthy. Changed tactics at 10, looking for bigger fish - tried Carolina rigging in the channel on the far side from the launch, couple of knocks but no fish. Graphed a bunch of fish mid-column in 25' of water, but they weren't eating (tried cranks and suspended flukes). Water temp was 88 degrees, really fun morning. Hot weather supposed to break next week, will be back
