My dad and I fished JerMar on Saturday Morning. We caught of a total of 28 fish with 8 culled. The biggest fish was 3 pounds with several in the 2 to 2.5 pound range. Most fish were caught on darker Brush Hawgs and Frogs either really close to the banks or brush and around the weed lines (which are much more under control than in some of the lakes at the moment). Most fish were caught on the west bank and all the way down to the north end of the lake. The fish in this lake are hard fighters but you can tell that some are still stunted which makes culling on this lake more important than ever. I believe if the population was cut down in this lake, it could be busting out with a lot of 4-5 pounders in a couple of years. I ran into the owner Jerry who said that he is raising some Tilapia to put in the lake which will help out as well. This lake is a great value and needs to be fished more to get some of those smaller bass out.
