Went for the evening top water bite. Caught a few on Ribbit frog (black).  Mostly blowups but the bass couldn't break threw the weeds as they are really thick this year. Lost few in the thick weeds.  Most action fishing the south end dam.  Fished the old dam which is distinct as the weeds are on the surface.  Everything was over 14" and the largest was around four pounds. Surprisingly no dinks which is strange for six o.  Wind was blowing steady from the east and the anchor in the weed slowed down and in most cases held the drift.   I think we caught 10 for the PM fish.  In hind sight should have fished for coppernose.  Lots of small bait fish and small gills throughout the lake.  This site fishes different everytime we go.
