Went to Blackjack afternoon of the 26th. It had stormed the previous two hours so wasn't sure what to expect.

Got there at 430 and left at 830.

19 bass 5>4lbs, 6 dinks. 8 casts in a row with fish with senko on the structure just off the pier. 2 under the pier. 7 off the dam throwing perpendicular to the shore w a senko (watermelon, chartreuse tail). They were 15-20 ft off the bank. Another couple off of a light colored frogs (anybody have huge success w frogs of a different color?).

Fishing died at 730. Lots of big swirls, surface brakes along the bank across from the pier and threw a bunch of things at them. Senko, spook, frog. I guess they were after shad so if i had to do it again maybe a fluke or rapala jerk or something. Any recommendations from them more experienced PWF guys…specifically catching the "swirlers" "jumpers" around dusk? So frustrating that you can see and hear them but not be able to hook into one.
