John Shepard and I arrived at Blackjack Ranch last Friday afternoon around 1 pm.  The action was good right away and steady till around 3:30 then slowed quite a bit. We stayed till ~8:15 anticipating a strong late evening frog bite that did not happen. All in all it was a good day considering the heat. We caught about s dozen each good quality bass on plastics. John caught a 7.4 beauty around the dock.
